  1. Overview of Lookinglass Babble Friends
In Lookinglass Babble, a friend represents another user who you frequently send messages or talk to, and want to quickly find out whether they are online, and send messages to them.

  2. Adding a new friend
Before you can add a new friend, you must first find them. Once you have selected the desired user, you can click the add to friends list button. You can also add multiple friends at once from the find user page in Windows, by holding down the Control key while you click on each user, and then click on the add to friends list button.

  3. Seeing which friends are online
    1. In Windows
Select the Friends Panel in the main window. This displays all your friends that are online in one list, and those that are off-line in another list. Users who appear grey are idle. (meaning that are probably not at their computer) You can double click on any friend to send them a message.
    2. In a Web Browser
Click on the Friends Window option at the top of the main page. This lists all your friends, and whether they are online or not. A user who is listed as idle is probably not at their computer. You can click on any friend to send them a message.

  4. Removing a friend
To remove a friend from your friends list, select them, and click on the Remove from Friends List button.
